History

Founded in 1977 with Brothers Steve and Martyn Greenwood, Martyn left within a few years and Ian Roper joined in 1980 after working at agents VW, Vauxhall and Land Rover.

The garage was originally based in Thornton Lodge, untill 1990 when DIY firm Wickes wanted the land that housed Greenwoods garage and Earnshaws motorcycles for there new store.

This gave Greenwoods garage the perfect opportunity to have there own purpose built workshop and MOT centre built in Lockwood, Huddersfield.

Over the past ten years we have built a reputable customer base carrying work for the public and small business alike.

We employ a reliable and helpful workforce, including Dean Mate who has been with us for the last 15 years.
